Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
To take on a supervisory role, strategize and manage projects, Initiate, develop, whilst managing internal and corporate public relations programs to achieve the desired internal perception towards the Company in line with its goals and strategies.

ACCOUNTABILITIES 
1. Plan two-way communication and the right dissemination of information/messages that supports the company goals to internal & external public through the right communication channels
2. Supervising subordinates in carrying the projects and tasks for the division and strategizing key messages for the organization in line with the goals and timely directions.
3. Manage the publication of internal/external publications printed and online to ensure it meets the communication and brand guidelines i.e. Annual Report, News from Corporate Communications, Blue Alert.
4. Supervise and manage the provision of editorial services for the Company especially in relations to the Chief Executive Officer’s correspondence to internal/external &public.
5. Plan and manage internal programs in support of the Brand and Company goals and strategies, inclusive of products and services.
6. Manage and develop policy and procedures for the Division to support overall Company objective i.e. Blue Net internal portal.
7. Crisis Management – plan, strategise and communicate in times of crisis.
8. Manage Corporate Visits, Premiums for VIPs and VVIPs, and Management related information in regards to Group info, events.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

1. Minimum Degree in communications and or related in the field of communications i.e., Marketing Comms, Journalism, Media Management, Mass Comms
2. Masters in the same field is an advantage
3. A minimum experience of 5 years or more in Public Relations
4. Preferably experience in specialist writing, media management, and event planning is an added advantage

TECHNICAL & BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES/ SKILLS

1. Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
2. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
3. Computer literacy – Word, Spreadsheet, PowerPoint
4. Emceeing
