Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
Accountable and responsible for the following:
1. to ensure sound Business Case in placed with specific value creation that is aligned with the company strategy by executing the project. Monitor and track the approved business benefits during and after the completion of the project to ensure the value is met. 
2. to lead the overall management of project risk from planning, control, review and reporting through the facilitation of regular risk reviews at the contract and project level.

ACCOUNTABILITIES 
1. Review and challenge the projects Business Case to ensure it meets the company strategy mandated by management per Approved Business Plan.
2. Collaborate with respective LOBs, Finance and Strategy Team to align the benefits realization
3. Conduct periodical assessment by monitoring the project key milestones completion and validate against the benefits realization
4. Conduct Project Implementation Review (PIR) to ascertain that intended benefits have been realized
5. Develop and monitor key performance indicators and ensure business data and reporting needs are met.
6. Responsible for the overall management of comprehensive project risks to ensure early detection and timely mitigation plan.
7. Prepare and maintain the detailed project risk reports as required for the reporting cycle and responsible for taking an active role in the continuous improvement of the risk management function
8. Review plans and lead activities related to mitigation, planning, control, review and reporting. Ensure that all projects comply with the risk management plan and procedures 
9. Work closely with the project managers in implementing risk management policies and procedures to protect project execution.
10. Provide consolidated periodical report and update for management’s review and decision.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

1. Minimum Bachelor Degree holder. Whilst any degree is advantageous, preferable those with Business Studies, Information Technology and Finance background. 
2. A recognized certification in Project Management is desirable
3. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in telecommunications or a related industry. 
4. Experienced in running end-to-end enterprise-wide program management /portfolio within a corporate / consulting environment
5. Ability to manage multi-functional team and stakeholders and working within tight deadlines 
6. Proven analytical background 
7. Sound knowledge in risk management 
8. Exposure to Agile methods is an added advantage   

TECHNICAL & BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES/ SKILLS

1. Knowledge in standard risk management software 
2. Strong Communication and Interpersonal skill.
3. Working knowledge of project management and workflow management tools e.g. MS Projects, JIRA
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office skills
