Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
Lead and own Yoodo’s Overall Social Strategy, ensuring industry best practices in content development, KOL and channel management while advocating social media integration within the company influencing all teams and business strategies. 

ACCOUNTABILITIES 
1. Lead and create a plan for social media campaigns, ensuring target audience acquisition, engagement in supporting brand, segment and business objective across Yoodo's portfolio.
2. Ensure Best in-class Social Media Strategy for each individual Channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn) with continuous content development plans towards exponential growth.
3. Active monitoring of current trends and translate into actionable strategies always ensuring the brand’s relevancy and reputation to our target audience.
4. Develop, curate and manage relevant content topics as well as own all published social content using day-to-day calendar and effective long-term planning.
5. Establish repeatable operational methodologies and mechanisms that enables frugal, fast and responsive content development whilst developing partnerships, productive working relationships with our Agencies and KOLs.
6. Research and gather accurate details from listening tools, analyzing and reporting relevant progress timely.
7. Strategize and grow secondary in-house micro influencer/affiliate program (Yoodo Ambassadors) to play an active supporting role in overall social media amplification.
8. Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Legal, PR and other internal teams in a fast-paced environment to contribute creative ideas and execute various project tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related fields
2. Exceptional multi-tasking skills
3. Well versed with Google Analytics and other Social Media tools
4. Able to explain complex social media data in an understandable way
5. Strong problem solving skills
6. Passionate on all things social media with comprehensive understanding of social trends and user behaviours
7. 5 years’ experience in social media management with proven track record 
8. Experience in managing multiple social media channels  (FB, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Linkedin, TikTok) with in-depth knowledge of knowing the different strategies needed for those channels

TECHNICAL & BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES/ SKILLS

1. Strong leadership and networking skills to work with external (agency) and internal teams on various projects
2. Extensive understanding of Social Media landscape, nuances and future strategies that will drive each channel
3. Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and search engine optimization, google analytics, AdWords, listening tools etc
4. Strong verbal communication skills in articulating ideas as well as creatively contributing to new ideas
5. Organizational skills, with the capacity to multitask, prioritise and work across multiple projects
6. The ability to work well under pressure with an eye for details, meeting required deadlines.
7. Data analysis skills and statistical prowess to draw actionable insights
8. Online community management and general customer service skills to strike the balance between publicity and stimulating direct discussion with potential and existing customers
