Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Operationalize Network Operation Centre (NOC) Shift team effectively and efficiently and to maintain and monitor that all the network fault detection, troubleshooting,escalation and restoration in accordance to the company’s network and services FHP (Fault Handling Process), SOPP and KPI.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES /KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and monitor the shift team work schedule, consoles assignment, trainings, staff welfare and other work related matters.
  • Translate and operationalize the information security control and practice at NOC and in compliance with Enterprise Information Security Policy, standard and procedures.
  • Translate and operationalize all the restoration works for all fault related matters as per defined in the FHPs.
  • Operationalize the information flow between the teams attending to the fault and NOC to maintain and monitor uninterrupted surveillance operation and fault restoration activity.
  • Operationalize the resource and shift requirement to maintain its operation are with manned by the staff with the right skill set performing the tasks at the most optimal level.
  • Translate and operationalize the fault escalation and maintain and monitor other managed services NOC, OLOs and bandwidth providers performing in accordance to the agreed SLA and steps are taken to ensure relevant process are adhered to.
  • Operationalize the technical update to the higher management on the Critical/Hi Critical trouble tickets and Planned Maintenance updates are being maintain and monitor on a timely manner and with the highest accuracy as per defined in the FHPs.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

  • Translate and operationalize the processes in the network’s FHP are adhere to throughout the Network division
  • Maintain and monitor the highest accuracy of information in the trouble tickets to avoid duplication, misunderstanding or inaccurate escalation to the field teams.
  • Translate and operationalize analysis and escalation of the RAN, Transmission, CORE and Enterprise element/network monitoring system error, bug or anomalies to the NMS/System owner via the proper channels/issuance of a trouble ticket.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

Bachelor in Engineering (Telecommunication/Electronics/Electrical) or Bachelor in Computer Science.

• 5 years working experience in Telecommunication industry
• Knowledge and experience on cellular network architecture.
•Knowledge and skills in network management and operation management
