Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

To facilitate the delivery of the Digital product capabilities through thorough analysis of business requirement and how the impacts and interacts with the other systems within Celcom in order to enable a cross channel experience to ensure all Digital product capabilities can be easily and consistently made available across web, mobile, tablet and apps.

ACCOUNTABILITIES /KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for digital product analysis of the appointed Digital domain to interpret business requirements and strategies into digital product design to contribute to new or incremental revenues, prevent churn, drive retention and improve ARPU.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand complex business needs and ensure functional specifications and system designs specifications are aligned.
  • Identify technical/design/user journey gaps and work closely with developers and backend teams to ensure proper understanding of context, features and functions before the commencement of any sprint.
  • Ensure quality assurance of every feature/functionality of the digital product by monitoring sprint defect rates and burn-down charts through the understanding and analysis of monitoring tools.
  • Extract and analyze key insights and draw out actionable next steps and provide recommendations or define solutions to mitigate customer pain points across specific digital user journeys within the appointed Digital domain.
  • Develop and lead testing efforts and ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

ACCOUNTABILITIES /KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review Digital Analytics reports daily, weekly and monthly to gain a thorough understanding of the performance metrics such as cost per conversion, subscriber churn rates, incremental ARPU/ARPA, engagement rates, gaps in user journeys and develop a clear plan to mitigate and improve its performance.
  • Provide timely and concise updates to project teams, business stakeholders and management regarding channel status, commercial outcomes, key highlights, challenges, next steps and deliverables.
  • Define and prioritize stories in the Product Backlog to streamline the execution of the sprints, assess value, write and prioritize stories, epics and sprint goals to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Plan and set expectation for delivery of product feature backlog and development and ensure user experience, features and workflows within the platform deliver the expected user and business values.
  • Develop and drive continuous improvement of Celcom products and services experience.     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or MBA or related.

EXPERIENCE:

Degree with minimum of 5 – 8 years relevant experience in:

  • Digital product/platform management with demonstrated ability to implement mobile-first and effective development principles.
  • Highly energetic, positive and have a courageous lateral thinking.
  • Hands-on experience leading/managing full lifecycle of digital platforms development and deliveries.

TECHNICAL & BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES/ SKILLS

EXPERIENCE:

  • Managing virtual teams across functions and geographies
  • Driving teamwork and cross-team alignment. Past experiences in implementing Agile practices preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and have ability to coordinate and work with different functions.
  • Well organized and have attention to details. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliveries at the same time.

TECHNICAL & BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES/ SKILLS:

  • Goal focused and energetic in delivery with tracked record in strong execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a fast learner and have a “can do” attitude
  • Solid grasp of Analytics, HTML and UI/UX principles.
  • Knowledge of/experience with Adobe CMS (or equivalent) and Agile methodologies preferred
  • Ability to align teams cross-market / function without necessarily having direct management control
  • Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
  • Exceptionally organized, highly detail oriented and have strong project and team management skills.
  • Communication and presentation skills.
