Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Spearheading people centric mindset across the organization while enabling the creation of Change Management Centre of Excellence (CoE). Managing the people side of change and standardizing the Change Management approach in programs/projects. Driving the speed of adoption, ensuring change initiative sustainability and enabling a change ready community.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Design, plan and execute the set up of a Change Management Centre of Excellence (CoE) and Change Management methodologies (framework, processes, tools, educational programs, etc) to ensure a disciplined company-wide change management practice.

2. Design, develop and implement Change Management programs and frameworks at functional and program/project levels in EPMO to achieve the change management agenda, and to achieve program/project objectives.

3. Build a change management practice in Celcom and ensure adoption by building a Change Management Community of Practice (COP) into the organization.

4. Develop and monitor the use of mechanisms and success measurements in a manner that can assess the rate of acceptance of change and successful inculcation of change.

5. Control performance (monitoring and identifying trends) against key indicators through a variety of means e.g. data analysis, performance insights, monthly performance management reports, performance clinics, etc. with the objective of ensuring that management and stakeholders are fully appraised of key performance trends and issues.

6. Manage the analysis, assessment of change readiness and issues that hinder change and proactively plan with senior management the intervention actions to bridge the gap in realizing the desired transformation.

7. Continuously develop, modify, innovate and propose new ideas and approaches for inculcation of change to ensure success in change management agenda and engage with and manage stakeholders to ensure cooperation and acceptance of change management to ensure sustainability.

8. Develop, with strategic intent, internal and external communication and engagement programs in collaboration with respective process owners to fulfill the change management agenda.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

9. Drive cross-functional support to ensure successful and efficient implementation of Change Management activities through the eco-system within the organization to complement program/project execution.

10. Lead in formulating, identifying, developing and coaching project teams or individuals, as Business Support (known as Change Agents) for implementing initiatives which support adoption of change(s).

11. Build knowledge contents based on project best practices, i.e. tools, measurement, lessons learnt etc.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum Degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Humanities or any related discipline.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of related experience.
  • Experience in managing change/ transformational management and running related initiatives in medium to large sized organizations.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles and implementation experience preferably in Telco industry.
  • Change management and/ or transformation strategies formulation and measurements development including following through to ensure initiatives continue to be aligned and measured, with emphasis on cultural change management and inculcation.
  • Experience in communication & engagement planning and management.
  • Proven engagement experience in implementing change/ transformation initiatives which are accepted across levels in organizations.
