Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for leading and managing Celcom’s Postpaid business portfolio, which include Strategic direction, go to market strategy, revenue plans, product management and go-to-market execution. The role will lead a team to deliver company’s revenue & profitability targets and most of all optimizing customers’ experiences.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Strategize, Define and Direct the overall product portfolio which includes synergy in all product visions and requirements with market demands to ensure a continual stream of new and innovative ideas, product experience and go-to-market execution strategy, aligned to company’s business objectives and goals (Revenue growth, profitability and Customer Experience).
  2. Translate and Drive Company’s business objectives and goals into clear and sustainable product execution strategies / initiatives aimed at increasing and enhancing customer experience, revenue and profitability.
  3. Strategize and Lead yearly Roadmap for assigned product portfolios, ensuring a continual stream of new and innovative ideas are consistently brought to market. This includes leading and driving the team to deliver effective and comprehensive marketing plans and go-to-market execution strategy to ensure that it competes successfully in a highly competitive market.
  4. Oversee and Own the performance of the overall assigned portfolio, including all products in-market and go to market plans, and is responsible for ensuring that the overall portfolio achieves its financial objectives. This include evaluating the market trends, Consumer behaviors and technological developments, and identify business opportunities and unique value propositions to deliver revenue
    effectively within the desired cost targets.
  5. Lead the overall prioritization of assigned product portfolios, which includes reviewing the team’s development of all products functional
    and specifications across all products holistically for an effective go-to-market rollout.
  6. Lead and Drive the development of innovative products/services defined under all product portfolio that will lead to an increase in Celcom’s brand awareness in the industry.
  7. Lead Cross-Functional go-to-market team to compress delivery time of new propositions to targeted segments and subscribers, outpacing competition.
  8. Lead Campaign Base chapter to develop best practices and platforms to ensure most advanced capabilities to increase takeup of products and services.
  9. Establish and nurture rapport with key stakeholders and senior leadership to obtain buy-in and executive trust for business goals achievement.
  10. Lead and promote a culture of efficient and highly engaged and creative team that is result- and customer-oriented to successfully implement go-to-market initiatives and achieve common product/business goals and industry best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

  • Degree in Business, Sales or Marketing or any equivalent discipline
  • Master’s degree and/or Professional Qualifications will be an added advantage
  • In-depth knowledge in Telecommunications business
  • Min 11-15 years’ experience in Marketing, Sales or Telco industry
  • Demonstrated experience in creating successful marketing programs
  • Experience in team management and leadership.
  • Good knowledge or current market trends of Telco/digital services industry.
