Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

This is a senior leadership role in EBU that is accountable to drive development of the overall business strategy for Enterprise Business Unit (EBU) to protect existing B2B mobile revenue, increase product and solutions penetration, drive growth for the B2B mobile and device revenue as well as grow the overall customer base for the Enterprise segment
This role is also responsible to provide leadership and synergize the business enabler functions (i.e. Enterprise Strategy & Performance, Enterprise Product & Marketing, Enterprise Digital, Enterprise Operations) to effectively drive the core sales and solutioning functions in Enterprise Business Unit (EBU). 

ACCOUNTABILITIES /KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

1    Drive the formulation of effective overall EBU business strategies, the corresponding metrics and targets for both Mobile and Solutions segments to catalyze business growth and overall financial performance
2    Review and advise on the right operating model across EBU to drive organizational effectiveness, performance and productivity across all key metrics measured (e.g. Revenue, Cost, EBIT, Profit Margin Service Quality, Net-Adds, Churn, NPS etc.)
3    Engage and manage critical stakeholders (internal and external) to drive business objectives, sustainability as well as growth
4    Plan, acquire, and monitor financial resources to ensure effective and efficient management and utilization and provide advisory to Chief Enterprise Business on mitigation options where applicable
5    Drive mergers & acquisitions initiatives and activities to support overall growth strategy for Celcom’s Enterprise business segment
6    Continuously monitor key Group KPIs and metrics to ensure overall business performance and provide advisory to Chief Enterprise Business on mitigation options where applicable
7    Keep abreast of industry standards and competitors’ progress with an aim towards catalyzing development of innovative solutions/products/services to gain market share/competitive edge in a competitive environment
8    Review and advise EBU’s Deal Board as well as other key sales discussions to ensure alignment with overall formulated strategy and drive business profitability for EBU and Celcom
9    Lead and operationally manage all business enabling functions under EBU (Enterprise Strategy & Performance, Enterprise Product & Marketing, Enterprise Digital, Enterprise Operations) and ensure divisional performance across all the set KPIs
10    Synergize the tactical implementation plan across all the business enabling functions in EBU to optimize its value chains and improve processes and practices to ensure that effective and seamless support is provided to the core sales and solutioning team
11    Set and control the division’s cost and budget to ensure all expenditure are in line with company’s financial target.
12    Establish metrics and monitor people performance across the enabling functions in both management skills and technical expertise to ensure the capability and competency are aligned to overall business goals and expectation.
 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or any other related fields
Masters qualification in any of the fields above will be an added advantage 

EXPERIENCE: 

•    Minimum 18 - 20 years of relevant working experience with at least 10 years in the Telecommunications industry and 

•    At least 5 years in a senior leadership role in Telco Enterprise Business

•    Possesses critical experience in business development as well as experience in driving key business and digital transformation roles within the Telecommunications industry

•    Experience with managing / overseeing business and sales enabling functions (e.g. Strategy, Marketing, Product Development and Management, Order Management and Operations)
