Job Description


Plan, Operationalize and Lead device business through securing strategic partners, implementing effective channels and improving device warehousing and distribution to enhance customer experience, achieve revenue targets and increase market share.


  • Initiate and manage vendor’s agreement and contract renewal to facilitate device purchase.
  • Adopt and execute a flexible forecasting method to ensure sufficient and continuous supply of devices and accessories to all channels to meet the sales demand.
  • Adopt and execute a flexible purchase method to ensure sufficient and continuous supply of devices and accessories (Apple brand only) to all channels to meet the sales demand.
  • Build, maintain and continuously enhance relationship with strategic device suppliers, as well as ecosystem partners to ensure successful collaboration to achieve drive targeted device sales.
  • Manage all device purchase and service related payments within SLA’s set(invoice/credit note/marketing fund/CTOS/etc)
  • Consult & design the warehousing to distribution processes for new device and accessory related businesses within Celcom
  • Build , maintain and continuously enhance relationship with the 3rd party warehouse or any other necessary device warehouse(when needed)
  • Manage device blocking/unblocking for errant device contract customers via PCBS system in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and analyse industry developments in the areas of future phones, smart phones, tablets, dongle and make appropriate recommendation in order to ensure Celcom capture the market share. Joint ownership with Device Marketing.



  • Manage device / accessories warehousing partner and ensure devices / accessories are distributed to respective channels within improved SLA. Work towards digitizing various device distribution processes (e.g. device delivery status info) and improve the distribution SLA from time to time
  • Lead and execute quarterly device stock take and ensure minimal discrepancies between physical stocks versus inventory in the systems. Ensure respective plant owners resolve all discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Loan and demo device storing and supply management for entire Celcom



  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related discipline


  • 10 years’ experience in product management or marketing, preferably in telecommunications and fast-moving consumer goods industry, or highly competitive environment.
  • Hands on experience in device management function and with exposure to distribution and dealer channels; or business or product development; or marketing
  • Has project managed medium to large scale projects
  • Solid technical knowledge and understanding of wireless industry, new technologies, emerging technologies and current wireless technologies and trends desired
  • Experience with good understanding of data and insights, customer behavior and marketing principles



  • Understanding of key trends, technologies and companies in today’s mobile communications landscape.
  • Ability to prepare business cases and evaluate financial deal parameters.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to network and influence people
  • Understanding of basic legal elements and contract structures in product partnerships
  • Ability to connect with local distributors and vendors
  • Good in-depth knowledge of the end to end device and accessories business
