Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Plan, drive and manage regional channel management team to achieve the short to-medium-term business strategies of SMB and ensure the effective administration of the regional channel management salesforce in order to achieve the strategic business objectives.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES /KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and operationalize effective sales organization design, including sales job roles, sales channel design and sales resource deployment to optimize sales activities.
  • Managed the assigned regional channel management to ensure the desired SMB strategic objectives are achieved so as to meet the overall company objectives.
  • Identify, obtain approval and coordinate the execution of  resource requirement and enablers for the regions and allocation for nationwide channel management team to optimize productivity levels in line with sales targets.
  • Negotiate with the relevant stakeholders including cross-divisional functional teams on areas of improvements and enablers required that will drive nationwide channel management sales activities for the regions to achieve sales targets.
  • Review all reporting requirements are adhered to and able to develop action plans for regions based on performance reports.
  • Analyze  regional market requirements, share market trends, competitor analysis and closely work with the regions to manage expectations.
  • Establishes and maintains relationship with valued channel partners, customers and prospects and to promote long lasting relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualification of Degree in either Sales, Marketing, Commerce or relevant industry qualification.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • 5-8 years sales management with experience in strategy and business development functions.
  • Cross-functional experience in sales, channel, business development, strategy and GTM in telecommunication industry. FMCG and banking industry targeting business accounts can be considered.

  • Leadership and team player
  • Experience in managing sales team
  • Work experience targeting SMB segment
  • Ability to understand sales and financial performance reports
  • Managing regional channel management teams are added advantages. Work functions targeting SMB segment
