Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Execute Postpaid growth strategies and develop existing postpaid dealers within assigned territory.  Dealer account management skills.

ACCOUNTABILITIES /KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement and execute regional  postpaid and device sales campaign into Celcom exclusive partners via training, coaching, information and results sharing to both business owners and RX.
  • Develop aggressive sales person by identifying and hiring the right people ( RX ) together with business partners , training and coaching to align with Celcom requirements
  • Responsible to identify sales opportunities  within the cluster base or canvas for new OD/PFD within the region
  • Conduct competitive research to establish competitor strategies and develop counter measures to increase sales  for the cluster
  • Coordinate regional sales activities and ensure synergy with other departmental and regional sales activities  to maximize resources
  • Design, implement, deliver and manage RX sales training program on TNPS for direct and indirect partner
  • Assign, monitor and co-ordinate tasks required to ensure successful implementation of sales campaigns and POSM brand visibility within the region
  • Ensure targets of direct and indirect CP are met
  • Ensure RX/ Business owners receive necessary training required to maximize sales
  • Ensure optimum service and productivity levels are achieved and maintained at all times

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education Qualification:
• Bachelors degree in Marketing or Business Administration from a reputable University or Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance or Marketing would be an added advantage

2. Intermediate Microsoft Office
3. Valid Driving License “D”
4. Good knowledge in local telecommunication industry market
5. Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
6. Analytical and innovative thinker
7. Good planning and organization skills.
8. Good in PR and communication skills.
9. Able to work in a team and good leadership skills

EXPERIENCE:
Years of Experience:
• At least 5-8 years’ work experience comprising: - Minimum 4 years sales management and or supervising people in a telecommunications industry or FMCG

Preferable Previous Work Background:
• Experience in service industry and or mobile telecommunications or operational management would be an added advantage
• Proven track record in volume sales or campaign management and customer management
Preferable Previous Work Industry:
• Telecommunication

Mobility/ Travel Flexibility:
• Require to visit dealers/distributors at field

Computer Literacy:
• Basic Microsoft office skills – Microsoft Excel, Power Point & Word

Language:
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English and/or  Chinese dialect

Personality Preference:
• Able to work independently with a minimum supervision
