Job Description

PURPOSE

To execute strategic growth strategies in defined Area; develop new and existing dealers within assigned area.

ACCOUNTABILITIES /KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and execute area and regional sales campaigns; not limited to postpaid and device sales campaign into Celcom exclusive partners via training, coaching, information and results sharing to both business owners and RX
  • Develop aggressive sales person by identifying and hiring the right people ( RX ) together with business partners , training and coaching to align with Celcom requirements
  • Responsible to identify sales opportunities within the cluster base or canvas for new potential business within the region; not limited to postpaid dealers.  
  • Conduct competitive research to establish competitor strategies and develop counter measures to increase sales for the cluster
  • Coordinate regional sales activities and ensure synergy with other departmental and regional sales activities to maximize resources
  • Design, implement, deliver and manage RX sales training program on tNPS for direct and indirect partner
  • Assign, monitor and co-ordinate tasks required to ensure successful implementation of sales campaigns and POSM brand visibility within the region
  • Ensure targets of branded stores are met
  • Ensure RX/ Business owners receive necessary training required to maximize sales
  • Ensure optimum service and productivity levels are achieved and maintained at all times

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or Business Administration from a reputable University or Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance or Marketing would be an added advantage

EXPERIENCE:

Years of Experience:

  • At least 5-8 years’ work experience comprising: - Minimum 4 years sales management and or supervising people in a telecommunications industry or FMCG

TECHNICAL & BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES/ SKILLS

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office
  • Good knowledge in local telecommunication industry market
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • Analytical and innovative thinker
  • Good planning and organization skills.
  • Good in PR and communication skills.
  • Able to work in a team and self-motivated.
